Behavioral Health Services

The Montgomery Cares Behavioral Health Project (MCBHP)

  1. Provides short-term mental health services to uninsured county residents in three primary care clinics, Proyecto Salud, Mercy Clinic, and Holy Cross Health Center.
  2. Accepts patients who are referred by their primary care practitioner in these clinics.
  3. Provides mental health assessment, medication management, short-term therapy, case management and referrals, and mental health education.
  4. Provides services with a nurse case manager and family support worker in collaboration with the primary care provider.
  5. Provides all services within the primary care clinic.
  6. Provides services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
