Volunteers Count: You, the volunteer, are vital to achieving PCC’s mission of providing high-quality, culturally sensitive services to low-income, uninsured residents of Montgomery County. From volunteering at a community outreach function and sharing information about our programs at PCC, to working directly in our offices, your efforts as a volunteer are invaluable to our organization and the community.
Benefits: Aside from the knowledge that your service is beneficial to the community, you will reap several benefits including gaining experience, a sense of achievement, professional and community recognition, satisfaction through helping others, and networking opportunities. For students looking to complete their mandatory MCPS Student Service Learning Hours, PCC is a relaxed and educational environment to fulfill that requirement. PCC is approved for SSL hours.
Volunteer Opportunities: PCC has volunteer opportunities within a broad range of programs and activities, ensuring that you will find a program that interests you. We are looking for volunteers to round out our efforts in these areas:
-
Clerical/administrative tasks;
-
Data entry;
-

-
Research
-
SAS [statistical analysis software];
-
