Katerini brings over 12 years of extensive experience in the behavioral health sector, having specialized in intervention treatments for individuals with both behavioral and mental health disorders. Her previous role as the Director of Behavioral Health at Staten Island Performing Provider System equipped her with invaluable insights and skills that she will leverage to drive PCC initiatives forward. “Over the course of my career, I’ve seen that there has been and always will be a need to be innovative, to approach a situation from a different perspective if nothing else seems to have worked, or the results fall short of expectations,” explains Katerini.
Katerini graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a Master of Education and a clinical certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in health management. But that only explains a portion of her story; when she is not serving the community, you can typically find her making pottery, hiking with her dog and fiancé, enjoying a sunshine spot with her cat or jogging on a trail! Katerini recently moved to the area with her partner Jose and their two pets. She is engaged to be married in May.
