Participants are provided practical\, trauma-informed strategies tha t they can begin using immediately\, both personally and professionally\, to build resilience and manage the impact of collective trauma and grief.\ n \nIn addition\, due to the high level of exposure to trauma experienced during stressful periods of change\, this workshop will include strategies to prevent and mitigate the impact of secondary traumatic stress in order to reduce the chance of developing Acute Stress Disorder or Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Participants will leave with a framework and strategies to address the impacts of both cumulative and acute traumatic stress and a n awareness of when they need to seek additional supports for their mental health.
