The challenges we faced in 2020 will undoubtedly continue in 2021. It's critical that we keep looking out for one another, even if we can see the light of vaccination at the end of the proverbial tunnel. The mental health of our vulnerable senior population is as important as ever heading into year two of the pandemic. Participants learn about notable risk factors and warning signs, as well as strategies for both crisis and non-crisis situations.
In partnership with Cornerstone Montgomery, we're pleased to offer a thorough and informative -- and FREE -- virtual training for those serving seniors in Montgomery County and Prince George's County. Join us on February 24th for Mental Health First Aid - Virtual Training.
Training Date: Wednesday, February 24, 2021 Training Time: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM* Cost: FREE
*Before the main day of training, participants will have to complete a two-hour course on their own. This must be done within 1-week of the live event.
