While serving as the fiscal agent for the Tree House, the PCC provided staffing and assisted with the fiscal management of the organization. The separation occurred after several years of analysis, planning and preparation and with the endorsement of the PCC and Montgomery County government. The support and assistance PCC provided was an integral part of enabling the Tree House to fulfill its mission and prepared the organization to now stand on its own.
County government, the Primary Care Coalition and the new nonprofit have spent the past year preparing for this change. All parties are in accord that this is the best step for the Child Advocacy Center and are excited about the transition.
The PCC and The Tree House Child Advocacy Center of Montgomery County look forward to ongoing collaboration as they continue to be important resources for high-quality, accessible, and respectful health services in Montgomery County.
